I embodied conformity, codependency, and allowed my achievements to dictate my self-worth. My judgments of the past and fears of the future debilitated me, and I felt alone and overwhelmed. Though I could see my dreams clearly, I believed that anxiety would always hold me back from living the life I wanted.

But I was WRONG!

Mindfulness practices like yoga, meditation, and journaling have completely turned my life around. Learning to feel my emotions instead of suppressing them built confidence and trust in myself to live life on my own terms. Connecting with my values and beliefs instead of society’s allowed me to create sustainable change for my well-being , share my voice authentically even through discomfort and find happiness.

The more I put mindfulness tools into practice, the less my anxiety ruled my life, and the more peace I felt. I felt lighter, grounded, and peaceful. It allowed me to take baby steps with ease towards creating the life of my dreams. The more I focused on this, the more anxiety released.
